I have Nero Express 6.0.0.6 and a Plextor 708A burner. Burn times for a full DVD with DVDShrink run 8-10 minutes. When I burn a copy of the DVD I made with Shrink using Nero 6.0 my burn times jump to 30-40 minutes. What could be my problem?

Would I be better off getting Nero 6.0 Ultra?

Thank you.

Are you burning 'on the fly' with Nero or creating an image first?

If indeed you are trying to burn straight from DVD-Rom , that is whats called 'on-the-fly' !
It is known to give data transfers errors for many , it's down to whether you IDE cable can handle data transfer.
I suggest decrypting to HDD first then burn (perhaps after compression app,if needed).
