hey usudno,

one, what program did you use?

two, u could be a bit more polite to this forum...

three what DVD player software do you use? & does the DVD work in your DVD player on ya tv?

and lastly does it do it with every DVD or just this one?

PS, had a similar problem.... try double clicking on ya disc detector (if ya have one) and reply soon as you can or you get it sorted..

If you are referring to a DVD-ROM backup then you should burn in the UDF/ISO mode or just UDF mode otherwise you will get problems with playback. A question mark does not tell us very much!

I usually use DVD Shrink and Nero to burn. I'm not burning an image file. The only time i burn an image file with a dvd-rom is when using DVD Decrypter. Every burn i have plays on my home dvd player. But when i put it in my laptop or pc it just opens the files. Is their anyway to watch these backups? Sorry bout sounding impolite its just frustrating and im going on a trip tommorow and i wanted to be able to watch one of my backups. Thanks for all of the help.
p.s i use windows media player to play the movie. SHould i be using anything else?

You must have DVD player software installed to play the discs on your laptop.

No, DVD software such as Power DVD or WIN DVD - have a look here:-

If you have a DVD ROM drive pre-installed on your laptop you should have DVD software also pre-installed - check in 'programs'.
