ok so i have a pc dvd drive DL


and i was wornding how to make backups of my xbox games with a pc dvd drive




can i hotswap xbox games ???


please help

u need to softmod ur xbox. Then, u use a find a app that can rip the cd.
u have to connect ur xbox with ur pc. Only the xbox can read xbox discs

I used the search bar and found a whole bunch of tuts. They arn't stickied though.

Here is what you do:
Mod your XBox

Put the game you want to backup in the XBox's DVD-Drive

FTP to the XBox (any FTP client will work, I use FileZilla).

You will need to FTP the contents of the D: drive over to you PC's harddrive. Make a folder somewhere.

Now you need to use Craxtion to make an XISO of the folder. It's not hard, just load the directory and start.

After the XISO is made, you need to burn it. Use ImgBurn, its freeware, and it works wonders!

TaDa! You should now have a working XBox backup!
