I want to get this for my Brother, and I want to make sure it ill work with the regular DS (not the lite)

yes it will work with normal ds, but beware that the R4 only support upto 2GB micro sd card. if you want 4GB or more, get a better card, read the flash card reviews at www.gbatemp.net

I think this is good for us, as I don't think we need more than 2gb

Just one more question, will this allow me to play music, movies and let me view pics like the other flash cards

yes, you will need MoonShell for media player. if you have games and media files, then you may consider getting a bigger memory card.

If that is true and it does support SDHC cards that means this is a fake R4, and the R4 team have mentioned they will be attempting to brick DS' of people using fakes.

i would recommend not buying it as it looks fake mate , a r4ds wont work with 4 or 8 gb memory cards !

if you have your heart set on a r4ds then get one from here a uk website - http://www.addictsupplies.com/index.php?act=viewCat&catId=2

have bought from addictsupplies many times and they are genuine r4ds not fakes like the one off amazon .

I was about to buy it.

I'm not too picky on which card to buy, but I'm loking for the cheapest, and I need it delivered to the UK ASAP as I'm on holiday here and need it by the 29th

I would appreciate any links on such products, as the r4 card from adict supplies is a little pricey for me

hello again i know of 3 chinese websites that ive used that are prob the cheapest but you may struggle to get it for the 29th as sometimes it can take 2 weeks from china to the uk , here if you wish to try -
