Problem with DVD write using Pioneer DVR-AO6U

I recently purchased a Pioneer DVR-AO6U DVD writer. I have sinced tried to write DVDs but am not able to read back the copies from any PC DVD-ROM drive including the Pioneer DVR-AO6U. The copies play well on my home Sony DVD player however. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

That is very umusual. I presume you have DVD player software installed? What settings are you using to burn the discs?

I have the same problem, actually I copy the DVD with CloneDVD, then I can play it on every DVD unit, notebook, TV DVD player, pioneer itself, except my DVD unit (LG 8080B). I tried with different brand of discs as well as different recording software but problem is still there. I have an open thread about it. Title is "problem with dvd copy using clone dvd"
