can't play burned cd in my new car :(...

I traded in my old 1989 car today which of course did not playback my burned music cd's and then tried to play them in my 2004 touareg and it said "error" I have the new nero software and tried burning with the straight "cd" option then audio files and it says it burns "mp3" "mp4" and "wma" is there something I am doing wrong? thanks so much for any help!

You need to burn as an audio CD NOT an MP3 CD unless you are sure your new CD player plays mp3s. Nero is notorious for burning too fast for many readers to be able to read the disk. If you are still having problems try imageburn and burn at 1x or 2x or something real slow. That ought to correct the problem.
