I am trying to flash my Pioneer DVR-A06 from firware 1.05 to 1.07 RPC1 but I can't find any tutorial that explains how to boot to DOS in Windows XP. I have read that you can not create a boot disk in Windows XP. Here are the instructions that I am trying to follow "Make sure you don't have Intel Application Accelerator installed. Then run UPGRADE.BAT. You shouldn't have to downgrade if you flash from Windows." This has been taking for here.

With XP pop in a floppy and choose Format, then tick 'Create an MS Dos Startup disk'.
