hey,im gonna buy a laptop within the next few days mainly for email,web browsing, bebo, etc. but as i am a gaming fan i figure I may as well get a laptop thats good for gaming as well as the above.I have up to about 700euro to spend and the game i want it to support is Call of duty 4. also dell is not an option as i wont have time to wait for it to be delivered unless someone knows a way of getting them quicker,

I don't know what you'll find in Ireland, or what you'l necessarily get for 700 euros, but try and find a laptop with Go8600 graphics and 2GB of RAM.

They (with the exception of the 21M/S, 21J/S, 32M/S, 32L/S, don't buy those) have an 8400M GT GPU. Acceptable, but hardly gaming pedigree.

Yes, graphics card too slow would cause graphical slowdown.

DO NOT get a laptop with the 8400 or 8600 mobile GPUs. They are known to fail and even Nvidia admits to it.

Ooh cripes, yeah I'd forgotten about that, well remembered. Um, what would you get then? I haven't spotted any half decent mobility radeon laptops for a while now...
