First off I searched for anything similar but had no luck, so if there is something out there please let me know. I have been able to back up movie disks without much problem, but I am currently working on my first episode disk. My question is what is the preferred method for doing back-ups of episode disks? Do most of you just shrink and not worry about the compression or possibly run it through DVD Rebuilder? What about menus? Are they not worth worrying about keeping? Next is a little more in depth and may not even be feasible but just thought that I would ask. Is it possible to split the disk and then to use Vob Blanker and PGCEdit to copy the menu on both disks and then edit accordingly to the titles on the corresponding disks? Hopefully that makes sense, sometimes when you don't fully understand the process it is more difficult to compose the question. Thanks for the help.

Easiest way to split disc (dvd-9) is to use dvdfab plat and rip to HDD option, with menu on both discs. Then process with fixvts or vob blanker. Use dvd shrink to make an iso and burn with Imgburn.

So if I use the split disc feature it retains the menu on both discs? I have never used this option before so I was not aware that it done this. Thanks for the info. That sounds a whole lot easier than any other option.

Edit: Just finished processing the disk I was referring to, seemed to have worked great just like you said. I did a little extra tweaking of the menu with Vob Blanker and PgcEdit, then burnt the files straight to disk with ImgBurn. But I would have had a long road if it wasn't for your help, Thanks alot.
