Hello,

I once back up my psp when it was at 3.70 m33. Now i upgraded to 3.90 m33 changed backgrounds etc. But i was bored of the background etc. So i used the back up of the 3.70 m33 (all the maps) And now i have a semi-brick. I asked help at few forums. But they all point me to the pandora. But i dont have the money to get one or a friend with cfw. So i ask u guys how i fix my psp. I can still come in the recovery.

Sorry for my bad english

your vsh and dic files are unique to your psp, you cant replace them with any other psp's files apparently:P

Google search for "3.90M33 recovery files".

Download this, unzip it, toggle USB in recovery menu, drop the files into X:\PSP\RECOVERY\ and then go back to recovery mode and click run file at X:\PSP\RECOVERY\EBOOT.PBP

Create a free Pandora with Magic Memory stick.
I use this guide to clean up my bricked mess.
The Pandora helped me fix it all and back to 3.71M33-2.

Then you have not made the memory cards correctly. Please note that MSPFormat is the most crucial part to making the magic MS and that you MUST restart the PSP in the parts where it asks you to or it will not work, I recommend trying it out again and then getting back to me.
PS. Whereabouts are you from? UK?

Did you download the 1.50 kernel addon And the official 1.50?
Heres a copy of the guide I linked to without the links to copyright files:

1. Download the 1.50 Kernel Add-on for 3.80 M33 and the official 1.50 Sony Firmware - Make sure to download both parts

2. Connect your PSP to your computer via USB cable and copy the 150.PBP file you?ve downloaded to the root of your memory stick.

3. Extract the 1.50 kernel Add-on file you?ve downloaded anywhere on your computer. There should be 4 files. Copy these files to your memory stick in this directory: ms0:/PSP/GAME380/UPDATE. If you don?t have the GAME380 and the UPDATE folder then you must create it manually.

4. Disconnect your PSP to your computer and go to your XMB menu. Scroll to GAME > Memory Stick and run the 1.50 Kernel Addon program. Follow the on screen instructions and wait for the flashing of files to get finished.

5. Enjoy your homebrew capable 3.80 M33-2 PSP!
