I want to add Homebrew games (emulators;SNES,NES,Sega..)
I saw this youtube video with files...can someone confirm with me if
that is real and true?
I know that TA-082 systems show mac adress on top under system info.
Can you guys confirm...

ok....this is what i would do:
Downgrade to 1.50 - (The best and probably the safest way to downgrade is using a pandora battery + magic memory stick.)
Upgrade to cfw 3.03oe-c - (you can find easy installers for this)
Upgrade to cfw 3.52m33
Upgrade to cfw 3.52m33-4
Upgrade to cfw 3.90m33
Upgrade to cfw 3.90m33-2
Install 1.50 kernel addon
(latest custom firmware is 4.01)
and you are done!

If you dont want to upgrade you could really stop on fw 1.50 which it can run emulators n such.
If you dont want want to go thrugh all the upgrading you can use Despertar del Cementerio v5 aka Universal Unbricker v5 which automatically installs 3.90m33 on your psp. (you still need to make magic memory stick and pandora battery for this)

Get all necesarry files from here.
If not then search afterdawn! XD

Why go from 1.50 to 3.03 OE-C?

Just go from 1.50 straight to 3.52 M33 then 3.52 M33-4. From there you can go to any above custom firmware you want.

Then download Emulators/Homebrew that is 3.XX and above supported. Most all have been ported so no 1.50 kernel is really needed.

The safest way to install custom firmware would be Pandora Battery + Magic Memory Stick. For this method use this guide HERE. This will install 3.71 M33-2 custom firmware with addition to this guide I have included files to update up to the latest firmware.

If you do not want to use that method then follow the below steps to downgrade to 1.50 and then upgrade to whatever custom firmware you want.

To determine what type of Mother Board you have follow the image below.




Once you determine what motherboard you have go HERE and follow the proper guide...

For TA-082 or higher follow the "-2.71 PSP (TA-82 or TA-86)" guide.

If you do not have TA-082 or above follow the "-2.71 PSP" guide.

After you have followed 1 of the above guides and downgraded to 1.50 go HERE and use this guide to upgrade to 3.52 M33-4 then upgrade from 3.52 M33-4 straight to whatever custom firmware you want from there.

By the way, thanks for the Pandora + Magic Stick Guide. Its the only guide out of 6 I was able to follow clearly. I reccomended my nerdy friends to it. =]
