Video problem in CFW 4.01 m33-2

Actually, the same problem has been happening since quite a few firmwares back but I never bothered with it. So every time I convert avi files to mp4 and put them in my PSP VIDEO folder, they work fine. But when I try to use scene select or if I put the psp in sleep mode, when I come back and play the video where I left off, the screen is split in two, the top being completely black, and the bottom being warped and blurry. Is there any way to fix this?
