I'd like to ask for your help in finding the best clone software out there for creating an exact copy/clone of the original DVD - with no compression.

Could you please tell me which DVD clone software/ripper would yield the best picture quality - giving an exact 1:1 duplicate ? I plan to put these copies onto my HD... have a great amount of storage, so space is no problem at all.

I'm asking this question because in the past, a recurring problem was that film grain began showing up in the copies I made (this grain was not present in the original DVDs). I hope that the best most up-to-date clone software might elimindate this grain.

I'd appreciate any suggestions you could offer. Thanks for your help!

2 ways

1) dvdfabHD decrypter to HDD (fixvts to clean up) all freeware)
use dvdfafHDdecrypter in dvd-9 mode

2)Anydvd + ripit4me to HDD
anydvd is pay for

I prefer method 2, but I own both dvdfab and anydvd

ripit4me is freeware, but not updated anylonger, so it needs the help of Anydvd

If you're going to burn with no compression make sure to use Verbatim DL blank media!

You may can try SPAM. I've used it for years and it works great. However, it isn't free, but they offer 10 trials and it is full functional during the trial period. You may search it by Google.

I use AnyDVD with CloneDVD. You have to pay for both but they work incredibly WELL! Both are products of SlySoft...
