I own a sony dw-10A and I flahed it with new firmware to make it a 500. Big mistake and now it wont burn anything. I also accidently set the region to my current country and I use pretty cheap media but I have now tried 6 different kinds of media and nothing works. I am to the point of buying a new dve burner. !>) is there any hope of fixing the current drive. 2.) What is the best (most dependable) drive I can buy that will use all media types? 3.) can you remove regions from drives once they have been set?

Most drives allow 5 changes.
