Ok Sorry if this is the wrong category or whatever but this my first post so give me a break! And also, I know you've probably heard a lot of these stories but it would be nice for some help.

Well, anyway I've done something really stupid and I think I could have bricked my PSP. I tried making the pandora battery by cutting it open and cutting the wire etc. but I accidentally cut the connection that connects the board to actual plastic thing (there are two, I mean the one in line with the knobbly bit on the battery).

I thought I'd try to be clever so I fixed it up with some foil and miraculously it turned on but only the green light shows and it's completely silent. Is it BRICKED perhaps? OR is it just that the battery is pretty much dead and can't do much more than turn the green light on?

I know this isn't likely but I thought that bricked PSPs turn on and then turn themselves off a few seconds later. Mine doesn't do that. Should I try get a new battery or am I completely screwed?

Well, did you try running the PSP on just the AC adapter with no battery in? If it starts up, then it was just the battery.
