Asus M2R32-MVP Motherboard

Sata hdd 750gb

Nvidia Geforce pci-e video card


Fatal1ty sound card
1 gig memory


Basically I install the card and turn on the computer and it makes one long beep and three short beeps (maybe two) The screen does not come on. I take the sound card out and then it comes on. I don't think there is anything that I can disable to change the situation is the card faulty?

see if does it in another pc. if it is an ami bios then it is a memory problem.
1 long, 3 short Memory test failure A fault has been detected in memory above 64KB
reseat the ram after installing the card to see if still have a problem or not.
if award bios.
1long, 3short No video card or bad video RAM Reseat or replace the video card.
