Acer Aspire 5520 GPU Driver Problem

My niece recently got an Acer Aspire 5520 laptop.
There was a problem with a virus & her brother ended up reinstalling windows vista onto it.
Now when she trys to play games it comes up an error message saying:

Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer.

I think the problem is that there is no driver installed.
I tried finding the driver for it from the Nvidia site, but it says to go to the Acer site & download it from there.
But there doesnt seem to be any drivers on the site!!!

I tried that mate, but it after trying to install, it says unable to find drivers.

Any other ideas or anywhere else i can find drivers ?

It gives this message after downloading & installing.
I get to the point where it says installing & it goes through the files it installs & then i get the error.
