Hey guys,
You know how if you download 2 torrents, the speed gets divided between the 2 ?
Is the same principle used, if you download 1 torrent,
and 1 rapidshare/megaupload pack ?
(you know, those downloads that come in 20-something different parts)
Or is one of these methods faster than the other ?
no not really...when downloading 2 torrents..speeds are determined by your internet connection and the amount of seeders/leechers...
when downloading mega/rapidshare ,the speed is determind by your internet connection...
when downloading one of each, both downloads might get a lil slower cuz each is taking speed from the other...
The faster wmethod of downloading is thru mega/rapidshare cuz its directly from the internet, unlike utorrent for you get the file from several different ppl. Some stop seeding, more start leeching which makes your download speed fluctuate...
yes, since they are directly off the internet...idealy, you would get the best speed downloading one large file at a time for you can only take in as much data as your internet connection allows you too...if you got two things downloadin then they will both fight for as much speed/data as possible...
