Hi, Today I got a letter in the mail from Optimum online saying I was violating copyright laws. They caught me for Soul Calibur for ps2.
I usually use miniova, but unknowingly of the dangers sometimes I strayed to different sites for torrents I couldn't find on there or Isohunt, should I just stop downloading torrents, delete utorrent, etc etc? I'm really afraid because in the letter they say while at the moment they are not turning off my service the company may or may not sue me. On the complaint they have the name of the file, the filesize, IP address, DNS name, and URL, but no username. They source according to them was BitTorrent. I use p2p for personal reasons and have never ever shared anything from these websites, but I'm sure that doesn't help me anyway. I'm really afraid they'll sue me and turn my service off, so should I just get rid of all torrents and never use them again, since they caught me once? Thanks..
once you are cought you are on their watch buddy...i suggest just stay away from all those torrent sites and stop d/l copyrighted material. Your option now is to wait till you hear from them again....
