Ok, so I have a pair of desktop speakers and a self-amplified subwoofer. I plugged the subwoofer into the orange jack on the back of my mobo and the desktop speakers obviously enough into the green jack. Went into windows sound configuration and made it surround sound but, disabling rear speakers and the center channel. When I test each speaker individually and the subwoofer sound is heard. Now when doing anything else sound related only the desktop speaks work but no subwoofer. But even then, when testing the subwoofer in windows sound configuration sound is heard. Can anyone help me? If anyone has had the same experience and/or has a solution it would be much appreciated.
