Hi!

The DVD movie is not sold anymore so I downloaded it. He writes: "This is a complete rip from the original DVD. Nothing removed or re-encoded."

The files are:
/sample/sample.vob 48 MiB
/roadhome.part01.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part02.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part03.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part04.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part05.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part06.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part07.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part08.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part09.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part10.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part11.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part12.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part13.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part14.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part15.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part16.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part17.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part18.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part19.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part20.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part21.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part22.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part23.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part24.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part25.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part26.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part27.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part28.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part29.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part30.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part31.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part32.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part33.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part34.rar 96 MiB
/roadhome.part35.rar 83 MiB

So, how should I do now? I want to burn it all on a DVD, and it should look like the original DVD with all the menues and stuff. Is that possible?

Which burning program do I need? Please explain simple, where to click and how to do.

1) What is the title of the dvd you were looking for.

2) Are you sure you looked everywhere online, including fleabay?

3) Did you run a scan on the files to make sure they were clean.

these are RAR files..... first you must EXTRACT the files to a folder. In order to do this you must have WinRAR program installed on your computer. Once you extracted the files to the folder you must see what format your video files are in... if they are VOB files then you won't have to convert to DVD compliant files to burn to DVD.... but if your video file is AVI or MPEG or other format you will need another program to convert your file to DVD format! I suggest ConvertXToDVD or Nero Vission. If this sounds confusing to you ...... it's not.. it's just that you haven't done this before and it is not hard to do.

Another thing to consider is your files you downloaded.

you want total quality and that may or may not be possible even though the author writes, "This is a complete rip from the original DVD. Nothing removed or re-encoded." The only way to tell is when you EXTRACT all the files to a folder and see what format it is in. If his statement is true then it should be in VOB format and all you have to do is burn to disk with your favorite burning software program!

IHoe: Thanks for the answer! The download is not finished yet, so I can't test to extract the files right now. But when I can, should I do like this?
1. Open Winrar
2. Mark only all the .rar-files (not the first /sample/sample.vob file, right?)
3. Click on the icon "Extract to".
4. See which format they're in the new map.

I´ll write again when I've come this far.

I don't have any burning program, can you give me any tips of an easy one that´s good, please?

OK, now the download is finished. When I clicked "Extract to" all the 35 .rar-files became one file that's named DVD_VIDEO
It stands that it's an ISO-file.

When I doubleclick on the file my burning program that comes with the pc, Power2Go, pop's up. The window says that it can burn the file to a DVD. But, should I really burn it like this? No..?

What about that sample.vob file? It's on 49332 kb. Shouldn't that file be involved in the burning to make the disc correct?

You see, I wrote that I want the menues and stuff so it is like the real movie. The thing is, I want to have Swedish subtitles. The one I downloaded it from writes that English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Dutch and Polish subtitles should be avalible. How will I be able to choose this?

Please help! =)

click on the ISO file and burn it to disk! This should give you everything! An ISO file is a full disk image..... by burning it to disk you will get everything that it says it has! Now, when playing the disk you can hit the sub title button on your player and pick out which subtitle you want to use! Also if this DVD image has menus then you should be able to get all of that too! enjoy!

It worked! I have the menues and can choose subtitle too! Strange with that sample.vob file though, maybe it just was advance publicity or something.

Thank you so much! =)
