I've got got a fire card 8g. Battery died while loading games now it's all screwed up. Tried a full format and a quick format and put xmenu.dat back on on. Everything goes good until I finish and turn the DS back on. Keep getting "Error: open fat error!". I cant enter the menu either. Been reading for up and can't find any info on this specific problem. Read something about running a .bat file but I've got no menu access. When I hook back up to my PC the files are gone or the names sometimes change. Close to tossing it. Any Ideas.

http://www.sdcard.org/about/downloads/ and quick format with SD Formatter 2.0. Throw xmenu.dat back on and good to go. I answered my own question but I hope it helps somebody out.
