I've used this program with dvd decryptor and dvd shrink on an older computer and had no problems, I've since had to download all the programs again on a different computer, once I installed and tried my first back up, I realized that I didnt have an option to save as an .iso like I did before, I was still able to burn the dvd, but not able to have a back up .iso. Can anyone tell me what I might have done wrong? thanks in advance.

When you click on Backup, you will see Select backup target. Using the drop down box you can select ISO.
