I need help with an nvidia xfx 680i LT SLI mobo!!

I have everthing in plaec on my new Pc with Exception to a CD/DVD drive,but when i turbn it on my mnitor flashes no signal and the BIOS dosent show up.

No one has been able to help me with this. D:

Something i forgot to metion above, the mobo is SLI but i only have one graphics card atm its an "evga 8400gs"

i r newbie in deperate need of assistance,or a divne miracle either will do.

Does you system boot or post with the drive activity run lights? Also, your card has a DVI and a VGA connection. Which one are you using? Try to use the DVI port with the supplied adaptor to VGA (that is if you monitor is using a VGA connection). Be sure the connection of the Graphics card is properly seated. You need to first establish if you have the Basics like POST (power on system test). Then you can troubleshoot from there.

I think that I may have put one stand-off to many and it shorted the Mobo, im not sure but im gonna test it out to see if the motherboard is the problem.

That's what the standoffs are for, to prevent shorting out the mobo...

true but if i put a stand off in the wrong place and it touches an unsecure part of the mobo it could do the opposite. :(

With the ATX standard, it's pretty hard to do that in my experience.
