I just put together a new system...

BioStar TP43D2-A7 MB
Core 2 Duo E8400
GeForce 8800GT
2 GB GSkill PC8500
450 Watt Power Supply (came with the case)

Here's the problem - I turn the power on, all fans and HD spin up but no POST beeps and no display on the monitor. Could this be a dead MOBO or possibly the need for a bigger Power supply? Any help is appreciated.

I can guarantee you it's the PSU. You need quality, not Quantity.

A 450 watt corsair PSU will work on that setup. To be a bit on the safe and neat side see if you can get a 520HX.

Changing out the PSU is not a GUARANTEE! There are other things to check before assuming you have a faulty supply... like did you connect the CPU power connector to the motherboard. See you user manual for the location. Reseat all connections and then post again. Also look at the PSU for a voltage setting switch on the rear near the power cord. Be sure the selected voltage is 115/120 volt if applicable. If this does not help, connect only the bare minimun of devices like the CPU, one stick of RAM, and your Graphics Card. See if it will post to BIOS from there.

Either way, that PSU will definitely cause issues in the long run, so it should still be replaced. Note, you do not need more watts, you just need a better quality unit, like an Earthwatts 430W or Corsair VX 450W.
However, you should also check if the 4-pin CPU connector is plugged in, whether RAM and cards are properly seated, and so on.

lol

Do you have any idea of the amount of people that have had the same problem? I told all of them to change the PSU. They did and after that their systems worked fine.

Like Sam said even if the PSU is not causing issues now(which I'm sure it is) it will cause issues later on. It's best he changes it either way.
