First I apologize if I'm in the wrong forums. I have been up and down these boards and all over the net and Google. I used to use Utorrent and Peer Guardian2 and then did some reading that I saw on Utorrent, about the new company that purchased Utorrent. So I'm now trying ABC 3.1 and Protowall. My OP system is Win XP SP3. I run Prevx2 and Panda Software. My router is Actiontec DSL Gateway GT 701-WG. I went to Portforwarding.com and went thru the steps and cmd and went thru those steps but still the private trackers websites I want to go to show Connected:NO and the torrents in ABC are yellow not green. I've went to sourceforge.net and tried to see how to get this all working together, but so far now such luck. I'd appreciate help and your time
Try a port over 10,000 that isn't the default and allow ABC through any firewall you use, some modems have firewalls too, check for it at Portforward. If you can, disable UPnP. Are you using a static ip address, if you were in Command Prompt, guess it's not the wrong address. Some ISP's throttle torrents, check this list and there are more so if you don't see it, post it and someone may know: http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPs There may be somethig in this firewalled jpg: http://www.plucky.org/component/option,c...le,torrent.jpg/ If you can, disconnect your router temporararily and see if that fixes things. And know nothing of Prevx but isn't that some form of firewall? Edit: okay, Prevx appears to be some type of Registry protection similar to ProcessGuard which I have used with no problems but I'd still disable Prevx and see.
