I just built a computer, it powers on fine, but no video
It is:
AMD athlon 1.4GHZ processor
CoolMaster WaveMaster case
COOLMAX 120MM SILENT FAN BLACK ATX POWER SUPPLY CX-350B
DVD+R/DVD+RW/CD+RW drive
disc drive from a working eMac
2 20GB hard drives
a 32MB video card
512MB ram
NO OS INSTALLED
Any help would be appreciated
PS: If you want to know, all the parts together cost about $100

Could be anything on a PC that old, faulty CPU, motherboard, RAM or Video card. You've also got a pretty bad PSU which could potentially go bang at any moment, so I'd be careful of that.

I found out that the motherboard boots from a PCI graphics card by default, and im using an AGP one so i believe that is why it gets no signal.
oh and im planning to swap the processor with an AMD athlon that i have laying around (1.9ghz)

its not a bad PSU, and i got the case + the power supply + the dvd+r/dvd+rw/cd+rw drive for $40
Prices i found online (not minimum, but the ones i found)
Case = $80
Power supply = ?? (saw it for around $200 i think)
dvd drive = not very much (didn't look for it, because i couldn't find the manufacturer on it)

Well... if it is, should i replace it?
Im eventually gonna upgrade it, but i dont have a very high budget
Is it bad for running linux, because im going to run linux then eventually upgrade the cpu, ram, PSU, and HDDs,

I wouldn't recommend it for any PC, no matter what it's used for, I'd strongly recommend changing it for a 380W Antec EarthWatts right away.

Not really, the 380W EarthWatts is the cheapest unit I'd recommend.
