I just bought Shadow of the Colossus on Amazon

I have a PAL Playstation 2, and I bought Shadow of the Colossus in NTSC format. The seller also threw in a Swap Magic device with swaptool that will apparently let me play NTSC games in PAL. Sweet huh. One thing I'm wondering is that my friend told me Swap Magic can play backups. But I read somewhere that there are two different swap magics that do different tasks. Could someone please clear this up for me. Sorry if the answer is blindingly obvious to you guys.

Swap magic works for both ntsc and pal. You don't need to worry. Swap magic 3.6 or 3.8 will work fine.
