i have convertxtodvd installed, it was all workin fine then it messed up. i uninstalled it then reinstalled it, now it converts the film, says its burning, complete's but nothing has been burnt onto the disc? its still a blank disc? any ideas please???? many thanks
Don't use the built in burning app. Save your output to your HD, preview it (always a good idea), then do the final burn with ImgBurn (free) in 'Build' mode.
you also want to check your settings and make sure you still have it burning to your drive! Sometimes for some reason it will burn to the hard drive at a default location and it says it's burning but it's to the hard drive and not the burner!
see? even if you have the check mark in BURN TO DVD, notice it's burning an ISO to a folder on your hard drive!
now it's set correctly! with drive and write speed sellected!
I noticed the same thing happening with the latest version of ConvertXToDVD but it's still the best program out there to Convert files to DVD format! I would stick with this program! And I'm sure the next version will fix this minor bug!
one more thing...... since it did burn to the hard drive ..... you won't have to redo your convertion! Just burn with ImgBurn now that your DVD is ready for burning on your hard drive!~
