Hi,

I have a Nero supplied along with my HP drive. Nero visionexpress Version 2.X

I am trying to create a DVD for pictures as slide show as an object on my PC before creating a DVD. The system just freezes midway through creating the file.

I have defragmented my PC but the result is the same....The process freezes mid way through.

The file size of saved project is about 1.5GB (has about 1200 picures)

My PC is Pentium-4 HT with 70GB free disk space and a memory of 1.5GB of RAM

Any help is welcome.

Try making smaller projects into different folders.
Later you can combine the VOB's in those folders into one project.

I think the old version of nero vision has a 99 picture limit.

I don't think you can get that many with the OEM version.

Hi thanks for the responses / suggestions.

I was asked by Nero tech support to upgrade to Nero 6....which I just did and the problem still occurs. PC freezes as the transcoding is taking place.

appreciate to know if its likely there is a Hardware issue taking place?

I will now try doing this in smaller bathces as suggested by a member here.
