I have a bunch of .VOB files from different sources that I wish to compile onto a DVD-R using DVD Shrink 3.1.4. When I go to 'Open Files', or 'Re-author', the folders that contain the .VOB files either don't appear for import, or a caution dialog box says that it cannot find an .IFO file - apparently required for compiling and/or importing. Is there any way that I can create an .IFO/.BUP dummy file (whichever is necessary for DVD structure) with a program available? I have many programs such as Adobe Premiere, Avid, DVD Studio Pro (Mac, though), M2 Edit, and pretty much the bunch available from this website. My computer specs: WinXP Pro, 1.5 G RAM, 1.8 G AMD Proc. Thanks!

The Short answer is "NO"...But you can create a DVD from these VOB files no problem but you will need a DVD authoring Program......

Ok.. thanks... anyone out there have any idea which authoring program (I guess besides DVD Shrink) I could use to do this? I have just experimented with .IFO Edit and it worked to create an .IFO from each separate set of .VOB files which is great. I am in the process of experimenting to see if I then create an .IFO file from each separate set of .VOB files, will DVD Shrink allow me to import and create a compilation.... stand by...

DVD Lab does this well. One note though: On one computer, DVD Lab didn't work properly for me...on another one, it worked perfect...same install and everything. But Great Program!
