Hey guys.

I'm currently involved in a project that aims to add voices to the PC version of FF7.

We've already assembled a team of voice-actors through auditions, have a director who's had professional voice-over experience and a working program to play the files during battles, during movies and in-game.

However, our sound editor just dropped out. We can manage to edit the files ourselves using the sound reduction and normalization feature in Audacity but that's far from an ideal solution as we'd like the finished effort to be as high quality as possible.

As such we're looking for one or more sound editors that could take the wav files we send him and clean them up so that we can then encode them in LAME and package them into the game.

It is a pretty big task given the fact that there will be thousands of lines of dialog and that we don't have professional studio recording equipment (we elected to use unidirectional mics as a bare minimum). The project should also be spread out over the next year while we record the lines. It is also a fan project so it is not a paying request but we'd be happy to credit anyone who lends us a hand and to give you a copy of the project once done.

For those interested in getting into the sound editing industry, whether in movies or games, it is also a fantastic opportunity to add to your portfolio and to get some exposure as everything FF7 related usually generates some waves quickly through the net.

If you are interested, please drop me a PM (my e-mail account here is spam infested so I'll loose what you wrote with 99% certainty) and I'll be happy to give you more info.

Thanks.
