I have understood that Ifoedit has certain problems with the progressive ntsc material. Read many threads about this. Somehow I got a feeling that progressive material could not even be processed with Ifoedit.

I'm currently doing project in which I combine material from two separate dvds. Getting the video and sub streams from the one and audio from the other one. I now almost done. I remuxed all the stuff with IFoedit 0.96 and even burned the damn movie to dvd+rw. No problems other that standalone dvd (Sony 405) clock seems to be confused during couple first minutes of the movie. It seems to flicker between two times and finally chooses 23.976 fps time propably because m2v stream is progressive. Movie plays uncorrupted but the time runs too slowly and at the end it reaches approx. 82 mins. In reality if I clock the time movie runs approx. 102 mins (which is the correct time). Would it help if I 3:2 pulldown the m2v stream before Ifoedit muxing? Is there any other software for muxing video, audio and subs than those very very expensive authoring tools like Maestro.
