My friend brought over a burned disc on an old Devil May Cry CD, since his literally broke in half. (Btw, is that legal? I'd think so, since he owned a copy) Then it said "please enter a PS2 format disc. I did some googling and it said you had to do something about swapping. Then I found out about modchips, and I don't have any money so I can't buy that. Then I found a tutorial about how to use gameshark, then manually eject the CD Tray while the ps2 is on, and then put in the burned game. So, is there a way to manually eject it without going inside and electrocuting myself?

I have a fat PS2.
Ok first having a fliptop on the FAT PS2 is best. But you can use a slide card.
And to your question, one would think its ok to burn a backup copy of your own PS2 games, but others still think its wrong.
Depends upon your copyright laws.
Once the original is gone/unplayable through damage legally the backup must follow it into the bin. That's the odd thing about backup software... you are only allowed to use it as long as you keep and have in working condition the original it was copied from ;)
