I was bored today so I thought about burning music to a dvdr. I never tryed it before and have never heard of anyone doing it. So I got a blank dvd+rw that came with my burner and took many songs off a lot of cd's and burnt them using the MP3 burning option in nero. It was kinda a waste because it only took up about 555 mb. So maybe it can fit about a couple thousand songs on the dvdr. I know it probably won't work in a cd-player, but I am going to see if it works in my ps2 and dvd player. I already tested it with my comp and it plays all 140 songs.

I've tried putting 4.4 gig of my mp3's onto a dvd but was unable to, as it will only do it to a cd, not a dvd.

But i didn't play around too much, if you do work it out or someone else knows how drop a thread.

Hmmm well I tested it with my dvd player and ps2 and it seemed not to work. It only took about 555 mb too. Maybe if they had cd-r's that could fit more than 200 minutes on them. But I just wanted to experiment. Better off just getting a iPod if I have the money.

at the last count i think about 917 mp3 was what i got onto a dvd-r disc.Cant play it but hey good storage capacity for my mp3 collection

My dvd player supports MP3 burned to DVD but it only allows 247 to a disk which is a waste. I can fill up a DVD disk with MP3's and play them back on my PS2 with PS2 reality media player. You will need a modded PS2 to run the PS2 reality media player. I do know they stopped support for that particular program and just the other day I saw the exact same program at Best Buy for sale under a different name.. I think they sold out to Mad catz but not sure..
