DS Firecard not being recognised....

Hi Newbie here...grateful if someone could help with a firecard problem that I have....

Basically when it is in the DS it is not being recognised - the screen says there is no ds card inserted. It has worked fine for months and as far as I know nothing has happened to damage the card. As things stand I cant even get the ds to reformat it...to see if that would solve the issue.

Is my card kaput ?!?!?
