Legal downloads of TV shows using bit-torrent ? Is there such a thing?

Well that's a debate to have had... If its broadcast over the airwaves, you have the right to timeshift the programming. In other words, to record it and watch it later. Hence why VCRs have timers. So I don't see the illegality of downloading a torrent of a TV show unless your downloading the DVD .iso when they come out...
