This is the easiest way i found basically. First You take your memor32 put it in your ps2 then go into your browser and format your card once done. Download http://www.memor32.com/downloads.php the memor32 savegame manager v1.3 save to (C:/Program Files/ Then download Memento V1.1 to desktop there will be two files you need to extract MementoFW and MementoDiscPatcher Ok now plug your memor32 into your PC then go to MementoFW and hit Update it will take about 3mins or so to Program once done with all that download this file http://www.megashare.com/332235 its a santaslittleELFs when you open up the file in winace or winrar there will be a FILE NAMED BOOT TAKE THE BOOT FILE PUT IT IN C:/Program Files/Memor32/Ps2Saves Folder once done go to http://psx-scene.com/forums/freevast/58441-esr-public-beta.html and download ESR beta r7a.rar then place ESR beta r7a dvdv direct.elf into that BOOT Folder then open up save game manager click import and find that BOOT folder once found it will be in the Computer box it will say BOOT Check the box and hit Restore it will then place it on your memor32 card take it out your done

Once all Done with that get your game you have downloaded it will be a ISO file your going to open MementoDiscPatcher and find the iso you want patched and patch it it takes like 5 secs to patch then open up dvd decrypter or imgburn or nero whatever you use i think dvd decrypter is easier to use so open it put your blank dvd in and find your iso that was patched then hit mode at the top then iso then write lower the speed to 4x or 6x speed then hit burn at the bottom once thats all finished put the game in and your memor32 into your ps2 Turn on your PS2 while Holding the "R1" Button on your controller. ULaunchELF 4.12 should have loaded ( 'O' is OK 'X' is Cancel) Browse 'mc0:\' (Memory Card inserted into SLOT 1)Browse 'BOOT' folder then hit O on ESR beta r7a dvdv direct.elf THEN THE SCREEN WILL GO BLACK FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN IT WILL FLASH DIFFERENT COLORS THEN THERES YOUR GAME IT HAS BOOTED EVERY GAME IVE TRIED SO FAR GODOFWAR2 DVD5, ALONE IN THE DARK, SILENT HILL,MERCENARIES 2, MADDEN 09 AND SO ON

Hi, I'm still getting a black screen even after downloading all the elf files as per the instructions from hwaire. When I browse my memor32 on the ps2, it is saying corrupted file. Does anyone know what could be causing this?? - this is all very new to me!!

Good grief. I hope you don't save Microsoft documents/create folders with that many characters in the filenames...

Shows you don't need more than a smattering of education or brain cells to burn ps2 backups... Why is anybody else having any problems at all? If this guy can do it then it MUST be stupidly easy (actually I know it is)... the thing that's most likely to give trouble with unplayable disks is the rubbish ps2 laser)

Thanks Hawaire, I finally got it to boot. Only tried one game so far but it's taking a long time to load. Is this normal? I'm burning to Verbatim DVD-R - what's the difference between dvd-r and dvd+r? I've been using IMGBurn, so I read the disc first then write at 4x, but what speed should I be reading at, or doesn't it matter?
