Getting "Reset Occurred" Error when using nero.

when I am burning w/ nero or dvd shrink
I have an external burner and I updated the firmware.
what can i do to fix it? out of every 3 DVDs im wasting about 1 or 2.

Are you using USB or FireWire connection ?

It is highly suggested to go with firewire if you're able.

It could be a data transfer problem then.

You might want to look at how much it will cost for you to update to using firewire .
I have heard this mentioned a few times over the years & updating to firewire usually does sort out the problem.

Are you using half decent blank media btw ? Or no name cheapos ??
