Could someone give me simple instructions for using imgburn on a Dual Layer? I assume I should use it to build the iso as well as burn it. I use img burn to build and burn a lot but never Dual layered dvds. I ran into a weird screen during the build, had a accept or ignore parse menu came up (had smooth and some other box I could check).

1st let me say, I am well versed in rip and burn when it come to single layer.

I have an avi, I converted it with nero in high quality mode which made it just short of 6 Gig. I just bought my 1st batch of some DL dvds and wanted to use one. I attempted this before I headed out the door this am but when the accept or ignore parse menu came up (had smooth and some other box I could check), I decided to hold off until tonight.

No, have memorex made in taiwan. How bad are they? I couldnt make sense (at least not while I'm at work) of why verbatim is good and all those charts. Will follow the guide from you links though, thanks!

You may or may not get a successful burn with those. If the package is still sealed, I would take them back.
The only really reliable discs to use are Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x (MKM-001-00 dye) made in Singapore.

Thanks appreciate your help. If I get three coasters then I have no problem returning them to the store. I've done it once before with single layer.
