I remember once I was able to download something at ~150 kbps. It was right after I read a few guides and learned how to open my ports, how to change my settings in uTorrent, and after using this tweaker website thing (the only thing I can't manage to do is set my MTU properly, but regardless I was still dling at 150kbps)

I have a 2mb connection btw.

I did something in my router while trying to open a port for a game on my ps3. Something didn't work and it reset all my settings except for the port I opened up to use utorrent with. Now I dl at 60-70 kbps on public trackers. I tried using a private tracker just recently and I'm still dling at the same rate, even though I was connected to 70 seeds just a moment ago. It's still better than the 1kbps I use to be getting, but I'd much rather have the higher 100's again.

I checked and apparently my ISP is on a bad ISP list for limiting bandwidth on p2p things. But I don't understand why I was able to get 150 at one point and then never again. The funny thing is, on the same torrent I was getting 150 but it wasn't finished when my router reset it's settings. Once my router reset I started dling the same torrent and it was at 60 kbps.

Also I just switched my connection encryption thingy to forced. Didnt notice a difference.
