i have asianet brodband connection of 2mb/sec
with free time 2am-6am
initally i have load 4 or 5 torrents inthe
utorrent so that i get a total speed
of 220kb/sec.(approx 2.3gb in the 4 free hours)Things r changed in the last 4 weeks.
now my speed is around 60kb/sec 4 even large seed torrents.(500mb in 4 hour).
i checked my speed during this time in
speedtest.net with bombay server.
it is approx1430kb/sec.
checked port in utorrent.&port is also open!.
then i download some songs using ida s/w.it
has also a speed of around140kb/sec.so i guss
i have law speed 4 torrents only why is this?
please anyone help me? is my isp blocks the speed?

Try Protocol Encryption if you haven't: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/395674 and also maybe a different port, something over 50,000. If that helps, uncheck randomize port even if you don't use a router to prevent it changing (options>preferences>connection).

2Mb connection.. line maximum downspeed reported by any torrent client is going to be 256kb/s ..you are mixing things up see.. that online report is outputting kBITS per second whereas the torrent app is reporting kBYTES per second.
Internet is an 8bit system.. so divide your kBITS per second line speed that you pay for by 8 and hehehe.. 250ish kBYTES per second.

Speed varies by loading.. Everything has slowed recently as more and more isp's start using shady tactics and more and more people are taking and not giving back by capping their upolad at something stupid... or uploading nothing, taking your bandwith with protocol and not data.

Speed looks fine. Try starting 4 at once and see if you get close to 250.. That proves it isn't at your end but involves others. Play about with your up speed too.. I have noticed that where I was using 20-24 now the max before saturation is 15-18
