Question about burning DVD

I have dvd decrypter and alcohol 120& and was wondering what exactly do I have to do to rip the dvd since its protected and was told to use dvd decrypter.
My PSP History:

I DOWNLOAD 2 MOVIES, ONE HAS A DVD STRUCTURE AND THE OTHER WAS AN IMAGE. BOTH LOOKS FINE RUNNING FROM COMPUTER BUT AS SOON AS I RIP IT TO A DVD TO BE USED IN HOME DVD, IT CHANGED TO BLACK AND WHITE DISTORSIONED MOVIE. SOMEBODY KNOWS WHAT IS HAPPENING OR IAM DOING SOMETHING WRONG??? PLEASE ADVISE

First off, please turn your caps lock off so it doesn't seem like your shouting at everyone.
Secondly, where were these downloads from? Do they play ok from your pc before burning? A little more information may help.

They were downloaded through mininova site, the movies??? Supergirl 4.35G and Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea an Image. Yes there were prety good in the computer. I used Clone DVD2 and Nero 8.

you had this problem with both Nero and cloneDVD? I'd ditch Nero and stick with clone, but that is my personal opinion only. Which type of media are you using?
Don't multi-task while the conversion and burning is taking place.

Well, Iam using DVD's memorex bulk package. This is happening at this time only. I have no problem at the past.

try better blank media like Taiyo Yuden,Verbatim or Sony burning at 6x to 8x max

Usually when a downloaded DVD image gives B&W and a distorted
picture it's because of a PAL/NTSC incompatibility of some kind.
I'm in the USA, but I'm lucky to have a player that will always
output NTSC (the player will convert PAL disks) so I never see
this problem.
However, if my player were to output the PAL as-is, the result would
be similar to what you're seeing.
