I installed Half Life 2 Ep. One while having u-Torrent running in the background downloading Stalker Clear Sky which was at about 83.5%.
My game crashed when I came to reload it, couldn't ALT + TAB, CTRL + ALT + DEL out of it so I had to hold the power button on for a few seconds to get it restarted, once it did and it came to loading the Windows Xp x64 bit logo I got a BSOD for a split second, like a blink of an eye, my computer restarted and asked me which mode I want to boot up in, I chose normal and it did it again so the next time I chose safe.
When I booted up in safe it failed and game me a screen load of random missing files which I fixed by putting in my Windows CD then typing FIXBOOT in the console on the 'repair' option.
The thing is my systems working fine like it did before but i've lost all my stuff that was downloading! Is there anyway to get it back? I've still dot it in my download folder, is there any way I can add it to u-Torrent and resume downloading from 83.5%?
God please someone, tell me there is I download this gae at average speed of 10 kbps down, it took it like a week to get to 83.5%.
You can resume as long as it's still there, sound's like it is. Just open the original torrent pointing it to your file and it will check and take up where it left off. But it has to be the same torrent, not something similar so if you don't have it, find the right one.
if you didn't change the default download location you can rerun the torrent and then request a hash check, if the files are there it it';ll continue from the same %

btw: look at the rules, your title violates them
Go back to where you originally downloaded the torrent, Mininova, Blackcat, etc and redownload the exact torrent again (or reopen if you have it) then open it with utorrent using the same download folder as your 83.5% is in and it'll take up where it left off.
Sorry i've come from pub i'm still a bit pissed and i've had a cuple of tinnies and a smoke with me mates. I'll sort it out tomorrow it's just hen I got back I bollocked it up i'll sort it tomorrow morning i'm knackered now and cant be arsed.
