i had an MKV file and recoded it to DVD, now i didnt really know what mkv was until i read about it. (mkv to mp4 and mkv to dvd on this site).

My main question is, i notice a quality difference from mkv to dvd from orignal dvd. The mkv file im speaking off is a blueray rip. Now am i just crazy is seeing a difference in quality or is this actual fact?

by difference in quality, the dvd looks better than an original, is this because it was a blueray rip?
