i guess nobody's interested, yet we can all agree the ps2 is a legendary system- and its still being bought in relatively large quantities today. why not have a portable one? come on people? anything, any advice?
I had the exact same idea and was about to try it with my old Toshiba satellite but had another clever idea and did that instead. But i gave it some thought and you would need a video converter and you would need to cut the laptop case to use the disk tray on the ps2
It was easy to do and it was a good idea i turned that laptop into a portable terminal for my main computer. But I must admit I liked the ps2 laptop better
its an idea, i know its possible. but that does require some sick hardware, a beast of a cpu and gpu- and you don't always get that on a laptop- so cost wise, still clinging to the slim ps2 and screen.
is there a way to hotwire component outs to vga(perhaps laptop screen wires?)
i still think the video connection would be a problem, especially if switching out the mobos- running two power cords to it is also kind of weird- perhaps in a way vga signals have to be similar to component (after all i think they are analog)
