not a single setup worked using the motherboard w/o an additional scsi card for the second drive on its own ribbon cable. It didnt work w/ one burner on its own and the other w/ the hd, didnt work w/ both burners on same cable, didnt work any combo cept the burners each having their own ribbon cable (meaning extra scsi was needed as the HD uses one cable too)


I've found that using Alchol 120 works best, then Nero, DiscJuggler is kinda iffy even tho it uses alchol's engine. You can mix different dvd-r's and different burners (i have "Sony DRU-500" and a "Generic 4x DVD+-RW Writer" from compusa.


Finally, found burning 1x works good, 2x works, 2.6 is about 3 for 5, and 4x (using 4x disc's, even matching ones) is very unreliable.
