PAL PS2 + Swap Magic + NTSC Game = Working?

I am trying to help out a friend of mine. He has a PAL PS2 , and he wants to get this NTSC game called Sega Ages Volume 32 - Phantasy Star Collection.
Swap magic 3.6, under PAL mode (or does he need to pick NTSC ?), will his game work properly?
lines of resolution , I suppose that is ok, but the bottom line is figuring out if it will work.
PS2 , I can play all NTSC games so its not an issue for me, but I'm trying to help him out.
know how successful you are playing NTSC games in all their glory with swap magic.

He would still SELECT "PAL" as that is the region of his PS2 , even if he plays "NTSC" backups
PAL TV has no problem at all to display NTSC signals properly, except that an RGB cable is needed to get colour (due to incompatible colour modulation).

So i would just need a PAL RBG cable? I have this same problem with Tales Of Symphonia PS2 , the bottom quarter of the screen is missing when it displays in colour and there is some little lag as well, yet when i put it on 'defualt' it would play smoothly, but in black and white.

Yes the RGB cable should fix that.
NTSC PS2 and TV, and I use a PS2 component cable to play the PAL games properly.
