Hi everyone,

I use DVD Shrink which is great for ripping to my laptop hard drive. However I recently got a Freecom Mobile Drive XXS 320GB Portable Hard Drive.

I wanted to rip straight onto this, but it rips into 5/6 different files. I'm not sure how then to use ImgBurn to burn these or watch them from my laptop using something like VLC media player.

If I try and cut and paste the 4.5gb file from my laptop drive to the portable drive it says there is not enough free disc space, which is definitely not the case.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Ed

The 5-6 different files, are they video_ts files?

From memory I am almost certain they are yes. With one other type of file also.

If they are the video_ts files, then they didn't get put into a folder. When you save the files after compressing, they need to be saved to a folder. I usually set up the folders before compressing to them.

What os are you using? I have xp and use either 'copy to' or 'move to' for the files I want to transfer.

I don't think they are video ts files.

Just tried to rip Blood Diamond on to my portable hard drive, into a new folder.

6 files were created. Blood_Diamond.I00, Blood_Diamond.I01 and so on... .I02, .I03 etc. 5 of these files and one small 5kb "MDS File"

Advice would be appreciated...thanks!

Try using DVDFab Decrypter to rip these Movies to your Hard Drive?
Then open the Files in Shrink.

You May also use that MDS File to burn your Movie Using imgburn in write Mode If I'm Not Mistaken.
