DVDFab released a BETA version of new product: VideoFab Converter.

VideoFab Converter is the most powerful and flexible video file conversion software. It converts between almost all video formats and converts to most mobile devices.

So you've been playing with already? :)
I'll definately mess with it this weekend. Probably end up reporting the same bugs you find. Fengtao and Ting are usually pretty quick about getting things updated once they're alerted.

Anybody else ever hear of Magic Video Converter? I've been playing with this for about a month and it seems to work great.

I had never heard of it before and found it mentioned on a different website forum. I'll give VideoFab Converter a try also.

VideoFab is supposed to convert files other than DVD files such as AVI or WMV to other formats.
At the moment I don't care for VideoFab. I feel that it needs a great deal of improvement and the price is ridiculous when there are freeware programs out there that do a much better job. Maybe in the future it will be a decent program.

At this point, i'm not real impressed with VideoFab either. My trial is only days away from expiration. I don't think at this point i'll be purchasing.

That was my feeling when they fiinally posted the price, but I thought that there may be something special about it that I was missing. I recently acquired a PS3 and so my interest in converting files has risen. Thanks for your thoughts guys.

For now I feel that they should concentrate on DVDFab. Lot's of issues there.

Agreed. Here lately it seems the updates are more geared towards little bugs than cracking newer encryptions.

I am having problems using Videofab to convert M2TS files to MKV files to play on my eva8000.
When trying to convert a file it produces the vido ok, however, there is no sound.
Mediainfo reports the following:

I purchased Videofab and for the life of me cannot get a .M2TS file converted to anything that will load onto my Windows Media Center and then play on the PS3 in 1920x1080 HD with AC3. Any suggestions?
